It's a fairly thin jacket (40% wool) and I didn't think at $99 it was worth the alterations cost (I would have to hem the sleeves as well), so I think it's a "wait for a sale kind of coat".

ReplyDeleteTang that coat looks awesome...perhaps a (cheaper...that 1st quote seems high) tailor could resolve the length issue?! love the texture and the piping. coats are simply great, you can never have too many. it’s almost the only thing people see in the fall/winter anyways. they really make an outfit - total statement pieces is what. good lucks on sourcing out just the right one for you though. ♥
